Merry Chirstmas
Well it’s been an amazing year for us all at Dunstan Baby. Somewhat overwhelming at times, but it’s been a real privilege to be able to share this breakthrough with so many parents, and to see the positive impact it is having in their lives.

As we take a short break to recharge, we want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. May you enjoy this special time surrounded by friends, family and loved ones.

All the best,
The Dunstan Baby Team.

Catching up with our Chicago Moms
We have just returned home to Sydney after filming testimonials with parents from our Chicago study. Going from our Australian summer to a US winter was a bit of a shock to the system. The ‘windy city’ was amazing – but the weather did take some getting used to. Adding the wind chill factor, the temperatures were often below freezing with one day reaching -12C!

Many Chicago parents travelled long distances to tell us about their success with the system – one family travelling four hours by train. Receiving so much enthusiasm from the moms and dads and hearing their success stories, made it a privilege spending time with them.
It was also great to catch up with Catherine – our first Dunstan Mom blogger - who had taken on a bit of cult status amongst us here at Dunstan.

From all of us at Dunstan Baby, let me thank everyone involved for making our time in Chicago so warm and enjoyable.

Launch highs and a regretable low
This week saw the first shipment of Dunstan Baby Language DVDs being shipped to customers throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia. Unfortunately what should have been a joyous occassion (one that has been 8 years in the making) was tainted by an error in processing of some Canadian orders.
Unfortunately, some of our Canadian Moms and Dads have been charged an unforseen customs duty and handling fee. This has come as a complete shock to us, and no doubt to those directly affected by it. To rectify this, we are aiming to contact all those affected to organise a refund of the charge.
Our sincerest apologies go out to our Canadian Moms and Dads affected. Please know we are doing everything in our power to minimise its effect. You have been among the most vocal supporters of the Dunstan Baby Language and it upsets us greatly that what should be a moment of joy for you all in forming a stronger bond with your baby, has been tainted by this.

Dunstan Baby Language leaves ninemsn speechless.
Thank you to all our Australian Mums and Dads for their positive comments following last night’s Ray Martin tv special “Look Who’s Talking”.

The response we have received has been overwhelming. The program proved so popular that the demand to take part in the post-show webchat caused the ninemsn chatroom to crash.
For those who missed the chat, or would like to see what was discussed, simply click here to read the transcript.

Priscilla also appeared on The Today Show in the United States this morning. To see video of The Today Show click here.
Enjoy.

Dunstan Baby launches on Oprah – what a day!

Today was an amazing day. What a gift it was to share the Dunstan Baby Language on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
I arrived at the Harpo Studios and, after a quick tour, soon found myself on “the couch”. Oprah was lovely and warm and put any nervousness I had immediately at ease.

I kept laughing every time Oprah got excited about being able to hear the words being said by the babies in the audience, smiling as she would yell “It’s amazing!” and “ I heard that.”

It was wonderful to see the Chicago moms I met a few days earlier to teach the system to, and hear how learning the language helped them. It touched me when Jessica mentioned being able to have a 4-hour nap for the first time ever since having her twins Audrey and Lauren after hearing the words within their cries and settling them. As Oprah said, it must have felt like “a miracle”. We’ve all been there huh?

Thank you to everyone who I meet at Harpo and from the audience afterwards. Thank you especially to the moms, it was a pleasure to meet you and share the baby language with you, And of course, thank you Oprah for your kindness and support.

And to those of you that saw the Oprah show I would love to hear what you thought. So leave me a comment.

Priscilla
