( 3.1 / 249 )Hi!
My name is Cherie and I am a first time mother of Deegan - 6 weeks.
My husband and I watched the Dunstan baby language DVD’s while I was pregnant with my son and couldn’t wait to listen to him and get to know his cries!
It’s only early days yet but we have learnt to recognise his needs because of Dunstan baby language and I want to say a BIG BIG thank you to Priscilla for her wonderful insight and for sharing it with the world! The settling techniques recommended in the DVD’s also work wonderfully on my son. So Thank You again!

( 3 / 245 )The Dunstan System was of great benefit to my family.
I would be beside myself when my daughter cried as I didn’t know what she was telling me and I had my mother constantly telling me that there was something wrong with her. I felt powerless and stressed. I asked God for help and one morning I was watching T.V. and Priscilla was on the show. After I saw the segment I realised that God had provided me with the answer I was looking for. Since the Dunstan System, my husband and I have not looked back.
Thank you
Evangelia

( 3.1 / 207 )I would like to pass on my sincere thanks for empowering me with the Dunstan Baby Language which I first saw on channel nine with Ray Martin during my pregnancy. As we all know, becoming a parent for the first time is extremely daunting but I am pleased to say that without this knowledge, I most certainly could not have made it through those first few weeks, especially my time in hospital after Jackson’s birth.
As a result of this knowledge, I am able to understand what Jackson needs and see to his needs without fuss. I have also been able to share this knowledge with my husband. Consequently, our son is a very happy and content baby and we are confident parents making for a very peaceful household.
I am also an aunty to 3 beautiful boys - 11 month old triplets. I have used this skill set while helping my sister from time to time. It is so true that this method can be applied to any baby.
I would like to congratulate Priscilla on her hard work in sharing her findings with the world. It must have been such a ride, but her hard work and determination will make a difference to so many peoples lives.

( 2.6 / 221 )I had only watched the DVD once before my baby was born, but she soon showed she was not an easily settled baby, so we got the DVD out studied it and worked out she was saying the word for burp your baby, we did that and she immediately fell asleep, it was amazing! Thank you so much for helping us to feel like we know what we are doing. I recommend your system to all new mothers I come in contact with.

( 3 / 188 )After almost memorizing the DVD’s I now hear babies everywhere talking to me, whether it’s from their stroller, when I’m in the Mall or with my friends’ babies, I can understand what they’re saying almost instantly. It is truly overwhelming! Personally I am so anxious; I now can’t wait until I’ll have my second child. So to all the skeptic’s, I can gladly say: IT REALLY WORKS!!! Thank you for making a great difference!
All the best, Shavit

( 3 / 241 )People have asked our comments on the recent Good Weekend magazine story. What we can honestly say is that our response would be biased.
The best people to ask will always be parents who are using the Dunstan Baby Language.
The following was written to The Age (Melbourne) regarding the Good Weekend article:
I am a new mum and my baby boy “Jack” is now a happy, healthy 18 weeks old. My partner and I watched with great anticipation Ray Martins presentation of “look who’s talking” when Jack was around 3 weeks old. By this stage we had endured countless nights of no sleep and a baby who we had no idea how to settle. Apart from all the other feelings our overriding concern was how on earth to make this bundle who we loved so much feel happy –we certainly had no idea. We watched the show. I cannot begin to describe the feeling of absolute joy when we could discern the different words and take the appropriate action and almost always had a baby that would settle! Sure there were times when we still had a crying baby, but the confidence Priscilla gave us to at least listen and understand the process was a gift. I would just like to say that I have never in all my years of reading the paper sent in any feedback in relation to an article I have read. I was outraged at the almost personal attack on Priscilla’s character and am wondering if Jane Cadzow has her own child or spent a long period of time being sleep deprived. I also really don’t understand why it is so important for this theory to be scientifically tested. What has happened to good old fashioned mothering and the time honoured fashion of handing down advice? Have we all gone mad? I wish Priscilla all the best and if she makes millions out of this – good on her!

So a good weekend became a great weekend…We welcome all comments – it is our responsibility to listen so that we can provide the best for both parent and baby. We’d love to hear your feedback.

( 3 / 190 )Hi Priscilla,
I just wanted to contact you about your wonderful DVD’s and thank you for the precious information you are sharing with the world. When I saw your segment on Oprah, I had tears in my eyes because I knew you were on to something special.
I also recognised that there were different cries in my first baby but I didn’t know what they meant. How wonderful and empowering it is to be able to listen to my second baby’s cries and understand what he is saying to me. For the first time today, I heard the “I’m tired” “Owh” sound. I hadn’t heard it before but I think because I couldn’t hear it not because he wasn’t saying it. I was standing in my kitchen looking at your sound chart and I heard the “Owh” sound. It was clear as day. I immediately wrapped my baby boy, put him in his crib and rocked him off to sleep. He is at this very moment enjoying the zzzz’s he was asking for.
Thank you for giving us the gift of communication. On behalf of me and my baby - we think you’re wonderful!
My only challenge at this point is my baby is mostly saying “Eh” and “Eairh” because he is very windy. The other words are there but they’re always being mixed in with the wind which is ever present. You cautioned about feeding a windy baby. With my little guy, I have found small burps after one breast are very difficult to raise. A big burp, however, after both breasts comes much more easily and gives him the relief he needs.
Regards,
Melanie

( 2.9 / 189 )Today finds us in Los Angeles filming and cataloguing more baby cries. Over the course of the day we met with 40 mothers with newborns, filming them as they cried (the babies not the moms). We had everything today from 4 week olds to 11 week olds, to a gorgeous set of twins. Many Moms were apologetic if their baby didn’t cry on cue, but that was more than fine with us. It appears all some babies need to sleep soundly is a camerman, a boom operator, and some studio lights.
All the Moms were a true delight to meet and chat with, and we were surrounded by the cutest bunch of babies you have seen in your life. We thank all our Moms for giving their time so willingly.

( 2.7 / 207 )Dear Priscilla,
I am a first time mum. Whilst I was pregnant, I watched your interview with Ray Martin & then again on Oprah. I was so impressed with the system, I purchased your DVD collection in hope I could get more information from it. I was in the hospital after the birth of my baby in the maternity room, and was listening to all the babies crying. It was funny, a first time mum telling some that had two, three kids what the baby was crying for.
I have informed all the mid wives about the DVD, so that they might pass on your information to all new mothers, whether it be their first time or third, fourth go. You have certainly saved my sleepless nights, and although I do occasionally have a sleepless night, I know what my baby needs from me, so I can give it to her.
Thank you so much for our sanity.
Regards Kim & Paige
